FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov. 14, 2016) – Southwest Florida residents have one more long weekend to catch this year’s Fair at Fenway South starting Thursday evening, Nov. 17.

The fair will open Nov. 17 through 20 at JetBlue Park, located at 11500 Fenway South Drive in Fort Myers and will run from 5 to 11:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 1 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

New to the fair in 2016 is a unique lion and tiger show presented by world-renowned showman Vincent Von Duke. Von Duke’s lions and tigers will thrill fair audiences with a rare opportunity to see these amazing animals up close. After the show, guests may even get a chance to feed one of the animals.

The Fearless Flores Circus and Thrill Show returns to Southwest Florida with new thrills and attractions. Known for their appearance on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ the family will perform several of its death-defying shows each day, including motorcycle madness in the “Globe of Death,” and other heart-stopping feats.

A fair favorite, award-wining Illusionist Lance Gifford will continue to amaze fairgoers at Fenway South with his fast-paced and highly entertaining magical illusion show. He and his company perform some of the world’s most amazing illusions throughout the U.S. and Canada. Some of the “family members” in his troupe include doves, rabbits, a chow chow, toy and standard poodles, a Macaw parrot and Burmese python snakes. Gifford will perform live at the fair several times each day.

On Friday and Saturday nights at 10, the Las Vegas hypnotist show will make believers of the audience, as the hypnotist persuades a man to dance like Beyoncé, convinces fairgoers it’s sunny at night and more.

The fair also features a large petting zoo a where attendees may pet and feed dozens of animals from all around the world. This attraction is free and open during all fair hours.

All live entertainment and shows are free with fair admission.

Wade Shows, one of the largest carnival companies in North America, will be bringing its rides and attractions to the midway at the event. Many of the fair’s rides appear each year at the Florida State Fair and are being brought exclusively to Fort Myers by the producers of the event, including plenty of rides for younger kids to enjoy.

Admission to the fair is as low as $3.50 per person with a two-for-one admission discount available at www.fairatfenway.com. Pay-One-Price unlimited rides wristbands are also available at a discount through the website before the start of the fair for $20 each. Individual ride tickets may be purchased at the event.
