ESTERO, Fla. (May 22, 2017) – Suffolk, a national construction management firm and one of the largest building contractors in Florida, recently held its 11th annual charitable golf tournament at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. The event raised a record-breaking $225,000 for The Giving Circle, a long-time grassroots fundraising group led by Suffolk employees to support friends, family and trade partners in times of need.

“We are incredibly thankful for our event attendees and sponsors who dedicated their time and resources to support this longstanding, impactful program founded by our caring and compassionate Suffolk family,” said Suffolk’s President and General Manager Jeffrey A. Gouveia, Jr. “We believe in the power of people, and being able to make a positive difference and pave the way for a smoother journey for those in need is not only humbling but also at the heart of who we are as a company.”

More than 235 golfers, including more than 200 industry trade partner firms, attended the tournament and enjoyed a kick-off breakfast, a shotgun round of golf on two beautiful courses and an awards luncheon. Throughout the day, attendees were also given the opportunity to hear more about The Giving Circle organization.
