FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 14, 2014) – Scanlon Auto Group recently hosted the American Cancer Society of Lee County’s 2014 Cattle Barons’ Ball pre-event VIP Party on Wednesday, March 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Scanlon Lexus dealership located at 4200 South Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers.

More than 75 guests attended the event in the new Lexus showroom featuring heavy appetizers and drinks by Rene’s Custom Catering, live music, sponsor recognitions and parting gift bags.

The 2014 Cattle Barons’ gala will be held Friday, March 28 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs. The Cattle Barons’ Ball is famous for its over-the-top Western décor and generous denim-clad sponsors. This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever, featuring a night of unique cowboy-themed games, silent and live auctions, a Western-themed meal and exquisite desserts, and some special surprises. The highly acclaimed One Night Rodeo will once again entertain with their award-winning, boot-stomping country music.

The Cattle Barons’ Ball is the signature fundraising event for the American Cancer Society of Lee County. Now in its 11th year, the event has raised more than $3.7 million for support services, research and education.
