FORT MYERS, Fla. (Nov. 3, 2014) – The McQuagge Law Firm has changed its name to The McQuagge & King Law Firm. The new name reflects the addition of attorney Christine Elaine King as a partner.

The firm has also moved to a larger office space in the University Park building in Fort Myers at 12800 University Drive, and will now be in suite #530.

King received her Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples and is a member of the Florida Bar. Originally from Maryland, King moved to Southwest Florida in 1995. She holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Florida Gulf Coast University. Before joining the firm, King served as area director of leadership giving for the American Cancer Society of Lee County and also as the senior news producer of Fox-4 News. She volunteers for Fair Districts Florida, Coalition for Change, the American Cancer Society and the Quality Life Center.

Mike McQuagge, a board certified civil trial attorney, has more than 15 years experience. Before opening his own firm to fight insurance companies, his career included serving as a prosecutor for the Hillsborough County State’s Attorney Criminal and Juvenile Justice Divisions and House Counsel for Allstate Insurance Company. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctrate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, Florida Certified Circuit Court Mediator and a Contract Advisor.
