Cathy Sink

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 5, 2016) – Cathy Sink has joined the Fort Myers Police Foundation Board of Directors as a trustee.

Sink is an exclusive agent for Allstate Insurance in Fort Myers. Originally from Vincennes, Ind., she opened her first agency in Fort Myers in 1997, followed by a second in 2010 with plans for a third office in North Venice early next year.

She studied business and marketing at Vincennes University and Oakland City University. She has consistently been ranked in the top five percent of sales agents in the country and has earned recognition as an Inner Circle agent. Sink was recently elected to the National Advisory Board for Allstate, which is a distinct company honor with only a few agents chosen from each state in the country. She is an active community member who has volunteered for many local charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Fund, the Lee County Housing Authority, and the Harry Chapin Food Bank, and has been a longtime organizer for Angel Tree ministries through Fort Myers First Church, where she is an active member.

Established in 2014, the Fort Myers Police Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose goal is to help build a stronger bond between the community and the local police department. All funds raised by the Police Foundation go toward purchasing life-saving equipment for the Fort Myers Police Department. Since its formation, the Police Foundation has raised $150,000 that has gone toward purchasing medical kits for patrol cars, ballistic shields, electronic ear protection for shooting ranges and a firearms training simulator.
