ESTERO, Fla. (June 23, 2016) – Suffolk Construction recently reached a significant milestone with the topping off of Naples Square Phase 2.

Suffolk recognized approximately 300 people from their trade partner firms with a barbecue luncheon and giveaways to commemorate the topping off.

“After completing Phase 1 last November, we are excited Suffolk’s ‘build smart’ approach has guided our team to the successful topping off of Naples Square Phase 2,” said Josh Christensen, vice president of operations for Suffolk Construction.

Similar to Phase 1, the second phase of construction includes a five-story luxury condominium, totaling 260,000 square feet, with 72 fully customizable multi-family units. It will feature a second level amenities deck with a pool, spa, cabanas, outdoor grilling area, and fire pit, as well as a first floor parking garage with private storage for each unit.

Suffolk’s project team once again utilized a number of innovative tools and processes to date in the construction of Phase 2.

“Virtual design and construction was utilized to enhance the predictability in the field” said Peter Tuffo, chief operating officer for Suffolk Construction. “A number of lean principles were also implemented to maximize our efficiencies and minimize waste.”

Naples Square is being developed by The Ronto Group at 5th Avenue South and Goodlette-Frank Road in downtown Naples.
