FORT MYERS, Fla. (Aug. 31, 2016) – Attorney Jennifer Lynne Fisher has joined the law firm of Strayhorn & Persons P.L.
Fisher has more than a decade of working experience in the legal field. She graduated at the top of her class from Ave Maria School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015. Originally from Red River, New Mexico, Fisher moved to Fort Myers in 2005 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Biola University in the Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in communications studies. Prior to obtaining her law degree, she worked as a paralegal in real estate, probate litigation and estate planning, and assisted with foreclosure litigation, eminent domain, land trusts and real estate transactions.
While at Ave Maria, she served as senior editor of the Law Review and participated in many externships including working for the Honorable Douglas N. Frazier, United States Magistrate Judge, Middle District of Florida, the Guardian ad Litem Program and was a certified legal intern for the State Attorney’s Office, which allowed her to gain trial experience prosecuting misdemeanors. She is currently a member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Florida Bar, the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers and the Tiger Bay Club of Southwest Florida. Fisher also volunteers for the Lee County Domestic Animal Shelter.
