FORT MYERS, Fla. (July 19, 2017) – Bennett’s Fresh Roast has expanded its dairy and non-dairy options for its patrons.

The downtown Fort Myers coffee shop will now offer whole milk, non-fat milk, half and half, 2% Lactaid, soy milk, almond milk and cashew milk for its lattes, cappuccinos and other coffees.

“We’ve noticed there’s been a shift in recent years to milk alternatives, so we wanted to start providing a wider range of options for our customers,” said Bob Grissinger, Bennett’s Fresh Roast owner. “We fresh roast in micro batches, custom blend our espresso and offer the broadest selection of dairy and non-dairy alternatives in the market.”

In addition to fresh roasted coffee, Bennett’s Fresh Roast has also prided itself on its fresh-from-scratch donuts made daily. It also offers packaged whole bean or ground coffees, breakfast muffins, oatmeal and breakfast sandwiches. On the weekends, Bennett’s Strata (a layered baked breakfast dish) is a regular sellout. Tea lovers may choose from a large variety of Harney & Sons Fine Teas.

Bennett’s also offers fresh desserts from Grissinger’s own recipe book including praline bread pudding and lemon bars, giving area residents an alternative for afternoon treats. Lunch offerings, including paninis, soups, sandwiches, three signature salads and Bennett’s  ‘Lobster Roll’, ‘Chicken & Donut’ and ‘Donut Dog,’ are available Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bennett’s is located at 2011 Bayside Parkway in downtown Fort Myers and is open Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
