Becomes fourth-generation Fort Myers attorney

Strayhorn graduated from Bishop Verot High School, attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies from Warren Wilson College in West Asheville, North Carolina. She received her law degree from Ave Maria School of Law.

 

She continues a tradition, founded by her great, great grandfather, Guy M. Strayhorn, who began practicing law in the City of Fort Myers in 1916 and followed by her grandfather Norwood R. Strayhorn and father E. Bruce Strayhorn.

 

Megan Strayhorn has joined the Public Defender’s office, Twentieth Judicial Circuit.
