FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 28, 2018) –Bob Grissinger is really excited about the latest breakfast offering he’s launching at Bennett’s Fresh Roast on Monday, April 2.
The Cajun Grit bowl features stone ground grits combined with Andouille sausage, green peppers, spices and jack cheese and is available Monday through Friday mornings beginning at 6 a.m. while supplies last for $5.95.
“While everyone loves our donuts, some of our patrons enjoy a more heartier breakfast like our strata, so we were looking for something exciting and different than you’d find elsewhere,” said Grissinger. “So far the reviews from a few of our taste testers have been excellent so we are really excited that this new offering is available to everyone.”
Celebrating 10 years of operation in 2018, Bennett’s is known as the premier in-shop coffee roaster in Southwest Florida. They skillfully roast their coffee in micro batches as soon as the day before it’s ground, brewed and served, avoiding off flavors like bitterness and rancidity so often present in coffee roasted by less experienced roasters.
In addition to fresh roasted coffee and hand-cut-from-scratch donuts, Bennett’s also offers fresh desserts from Grissinger’s own recipe book including praline bread pudding and lemon bars, giving area residents an alternative for afternoon treats. It also features packaged whole bean or ground coffees, breakfast muffins, oatmeal, overnight oats and breakfast sandwiches. Tea lovers may choose from a large variety of Harney & Sons Fine Teas. Lunch offerings, including paninis, soups, sandwiches, three signature salads and Bennett’s ‘Lobster Roll’, ‘Chicken & Donut’ and ‘Donut Dog,’ are available Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bennett’s is open Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
