ESTERO, Fla.  Suffolk, one of the largest building contractors in Florida, recently held its 12thannual charitable golf tournament at PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. The event raised a record-breaking $262,000 forThe Giving Circle, a long-time grassroots fundraising group led by Suffolk employees to support friends, family, and subcontractors in times of need.

“Over the last 12 years, the annual Giving Circle Golf Tournament has raised over a $1 million and this year we surpassed our goal again and had the most successful event yet,” said Suffolk’s Chief Operating Officer Joe Fernandez. “We are incredibly thankful for our event attendees and sponsors who dedicated their time and resources to support this program. Itis amazing to see Suffolk and our partners come together to support loved ones and subcontractors who fell on hard times by raising money for The Giving Circle.”

More than 245 golfers, including more than 200 industry trade partners from 59 different companies, attended the tournament and enjoyed a kickoff breakfast, a shotgun round of golf on two beautiful courses, and an awards luncheon. Throughout the day, attendees were also given the opportunity to hear more about The Giving Circle organization.
