FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2014) – The Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Bell Tower Shops announces its new Wine Down Wednesday promotion for its hotel guests and top clients.
Each Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m., guests staying at the Crowne Plaza, as well as top clientele of the hotel, will be invited to enjoy complimentary wine in the lobby.
“With Wednesday being the peak of our business traveler week, we wanted to do something to reward and thank those guests who are staying with us and help them unwind from the challenges of their work day,” said Jim Larkin, general manager of the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Bell Tower Shops. “And with Americans now consuming more wine than any other nationality including the French, we thought what better way than to enjoy a glass of complimentary wine after a busy day. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine in the lobby with other hotel guests or the comfort of their own room.”
According to Larkin, in an effort to feature local and regional products, the Crowne Plaza will also be including a different Florida wine each week, helping introduce guests to the relatively unknown but emerging Florida wine industry. In addition, the Crowne Plaza has teamed up with Trini Salon & Spa at the Bell Tower Shops and will be offering complimentary chair massages for hotel guests during this same time frame.
“We find social opportunities like these a great way for guests to meet other guests and for members of our staff to get to know and hear from our guests about how they are enjoying their stay,” Larkin added.
Adjacent to the Bell Tower Shops, the Crowne Plaza Hotel offers 225 guest accommodations with more than 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space. With upscale amenities and friendly, professional service, the Crowne Plaza is home to Shoeless Joe’s Sports Cafe. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is located at 13051 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers.
