NAPLES, Fla. (Nov. 21, 2016) – Ryan Benson, principal with A. Vernon Allen Builder, along with Matt Jackson of Bond, Schoeneck and King, PLLC took first place in the Guided Bait Division of the 23rd Annual RedSnook Catch & Release Charity Tournament. The team also scored the most overall points in all divisions and Top Corporate Team in BSK’s boat.

Ty Loyd served as the team’s guide.

The event benefits the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and supports efforts to protect our most valuable resource, our water. Over the years, the RedSnook Tournament has helped support the Conservancy’s work including providing assistance and expertise to water quality projects at the local, state and federal level; creating the “Estuaries Report Card,” which rates the condition of our region’s vital waters; working to limit the amount of pollution from the north that enters Southwest Florida’s water; researching and monitoring juvenile gamefish habitats; helping to restore the Western Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands; and working to protect the Ten Thousand Islands, Big Cypress, Estero Bay, the Cocohatchee Slough and Caloosahatchee River.

Last year, $84,000 was raised at the event.
