FORT MYERS, Fla. (June 12, 2017) – Financial advisors Danielle and Graham Lucht of Alliance Financial Group will present four, one-hour presentations on maximizing Social Security benefits and financial planning in the face of dementia in July.
The sessions are free and open to public.
On July 13 at 2 and 6 p.m., the couple will educate attendees on strategies to help reduce the taxes in their IRA and defer up to 25 percent of their IRA’s required minimum distribution (RMD) and the best techniques to maximize Social Security. This seminar is best for anyone who hasn’t started taking their RMD or Social Security benefits and will show the potential pitfalls and costs of taking Social Security too early.
On July 27 at 2 and 6 p.m., the Luchts will be joined by local attorney Brian Downey for a discussion on financial planning in the shadow of dementia. This presentation is meant for adult children who know they will be caring for their aging parents or who are currently caring for parents. Downey will give an overview of all the legal aspects adult children need to be aware of when helping manage their parents’ assets and legal documents.
“Today, more than 15 million Americans are caring for an individual living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, and as the Baby Boomers continue to age, the number of people needing care is expected to grow exponentially,” said Danielle Lucht. “We want to share with the community some of the research and material that we, with resources from the MIT AgeLab and others, have assembled regarding financial planning in the shadow of this epidemic.”
All sessions will be held at Alliance Financial Group located at 14021 Metropolis Avenue in Fort Myers. Space is limited, and reservations must be made by calling Graham Lucht at 239-244-1512 or emailing email@example.com.
