FORT MYERS, Fla. (Aug. 2, 2016) – Scanlon Auto Group will support the following charitable events during August 2016.
On Wednesday, Aug. 17, Scanlon Auto will sponsor Rumrunner’s Celebrity Chef’s Night benefiting Barbara’s Friends – Golisano Children’s Hospital Cancer Fund. The event will include culinary creations from Chef Todd Johnson and Chef Ralph Centalonza of Rumrunners, Chef Harold Balink of Harold’s, Chef Keith Meyer of Trabue, Chef Wilhelm Gahabka of Bay Colony Golf Club, Chef Brian Roland of Crave Culinaire and Chef Ryan Love providing the delectable desserts and confections crafted by Norman Love Confections as well silent and live auctions featuring one-of-a-kind packages including hand-signed memorabilia from the worlds of sports and entertainment, and trips and travel to some of the most desirable destinations and most popular events in the country.
On Saturday, Aug. 20, Scanlon Auto will sponsor the Benefit for Shannon Jackson at Victory Lane Café in North Fort Myersto raise money for the Shannon Jackson Cancer Fund.

In addition to being major sponsors of the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, Scanlon Auto is also a major contributor to The United Way of Lee County, Arts for ACT, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lee County, The Harry Chapin Food Bank and many other organizations that support the people and the arts in our area.
